Radius Music Data Visualisation [4 arrays]

This simple processing sketch stores the last 915 values as rows and columns of text – reading top to bottom then left to right. It is possible to store the values of the revolving distance in an array, so a recent history of the room can be replayed sonically and visually. In doing this, the locations where people once stood in the room formulate a melodic loop that can be iterated over infinitely.

Radius Music maps the presence of people in a space – and illustrates how their dynamic movements throughout this space can influence a musical instrument. For more information on the project, visit http://hendersonsix.com
